Ivana Babic is an Italian-Serbian visual artist, illustrator, poet, and designer based in Milan. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, transformation, and the invisible connections that exist between inner and outer worlds.
Working across painting, illustration, and poetry, she creates symbolic visual narratives that move between the tangible and the imagined. Through layered compositions, archetypal figures, and evocative imagery, her work invites reflection on liminal spaces, personal myths, and the unseen dimensions of experience.
Born in Belgrade and educated in Applied Arts and Design, Babic combines an intuitive artistic approach with a strong sense of composition and visual storytelling. Her paintings and illustrations have been exhibited internationally and featured in publications dedicated to contemporary art.
Drawing inspiration from nature, folklore, dreams, and human consciousness, she creates works that seek to reveal what often remains hidden—offering viewers a space for contemplation, connection, and discovery.
